Brief History
2008
ASAPconnect launched in 2008 as California After School Technical Assistance (CASTA). The original vision for the organization was to build the capacity of Technical Assistance (TA) Providers. The goal was to better support the diverse needs of 4,500 expanded learning programs across the state. These programs include before school, after school, and summer learning. It was developed under the auspices of the Cooperative Research and Extension Services in Schools Center at UC Davis.
2010
In 2010, ASAPconnect moved its operations to the Santa Clara County Office of Education in San Jose, CA

In 2022, ASAPconnect found its current home at the Foundation for California Community Colleges…
